Joseph E. Sprengard, Jr. is a Senior Consultant with KMK Consulting Company, LLC and a member of its Economic Development Solution Group.
Joe is currently part of the consulting teams for KMK Consulting economic development clients Cincinnati USA Partnership, Northern Kentucky Vision 2015/Tri-ED, San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, Greater Akron Chamber and The Broward Alliance. Joe recently completed engagements with Tampa Bay Partnership, Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities, Inc. and Florida Chamber of Commerce.
Joe’s areas of specialization include leading major capital formation projects and strategic planning initiatives. He is experienced in high-level sales to CEOs, corporate executives and public officials. He also shares responsibility with KMK Consulting CEO, Jim McGraw, for execution of the firm’s business development and growth strategies.
Prior to joining KMK Consulting, Joe spent five years with Fifth Third Bank in their Corporate Treasury Department as National Accounts Sales Officer. Joe managed a large corporate treasury portfolio generating a team leading $5,500,000 in annual revenue where he was responsible for cash and liquidity management strategies for current and prospective clients, delivering verbal and written presentations to senior and executive management, executing multi-month implementation projects, and developing new business relationships. The portfolio consisted of Fortune 1000 companies based in southeastern United States including Coca Cola, Home Depot, Marathon Oil, Mercedes-Benz U.S, O’Neal Steel and Vulcan Materials Co. Fifth Third Bank’s highest sales award for three consecutive years.
Joe served as Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Timothy V. Johnson of Illinois prior to joining Fifth Third Bank where he worked closely with legislative staff on appropriation requests and Social Security legislation.
Joe is actively involved in a number of community activities. He is a member of the Hamilton County Republican Party Leadership Council, has led and managed multiple political campaigns, serves on the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber Government Affairs Committee and is member of Effective Governance Working Group for Cincinnati’s regional Agenda 360.
Joe received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was a student athlete scholarship recipient and member of its baseball team. He resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Amber.
