Vehr Communications Brings Deep Economic Strategic Communications and
Economic Development Experience to KMK Consulting Clients
Cincinnati, OH, March 26, 2007 - KMK Consulting (KMKC), is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic alliance with Vehr Communications, LLC, a Cincinnati-based public relations and strategic communications firm founded by Nick Vehr, the former Vice President of Economic Development and Marketing for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and current Chairman of the Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau. The purpose of the alliance is to broaden the range of services to KMKC clients to include marketing and strategic communications as well as to add more depth to the firm's economic development menu.

Previously, Vehr served as the Vice President of Economic Development and Marketing for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber (2002-2006). In 2006, he was the Chief Strategic Officer for Jack Rouse Associates. Vehr served for more than eight years as the Vice President and Executive Counselor of Dan Pinger Public Relations (1994-2002) and also was founder and President of Cincinnati 2012, Inc., the non-profit organization that sought designation from the United States Olympic Committee as the U.S. Candidate City for the 2012 Olympic Games from 1996 through 2001. Vehr served on Cincinnati City Council from for over five years as an appointed and elected member (19911996).
