KMK Consulting Executive Appointed to State Commission by Governor Taft
Cincinnati, December 20, 2002-KMK Consulting is proud to announce that Joe Robertson, Vice President of KMKC, has been appointed by Governor Bob Taft to the Ohio Expositions Commission (OEC) for a term ending December 1, 2008. The Ohio Expositions Commission produces the Ohio State Fair, an annual 17-day event with an emphasis on youth education and the promotion of the agricultural industry, Ohio products, Ohio tourism, and economic development. The commission maintains the 360 acres and 52 buildings of the Ohio Expo Center year-round for publicly acceptable and fiscally responsible events. The commission consists of 13 members. A general manager is employed by the commission along with 82 full-time and 19 part-time permanent employees in addition to the 850 seasonal employees hired to conduct the Ohio State Fair. Joe said, "I am honored that Governor Taft has appointed me to the OEC and look forward to working with the members of the Commission and its employees in the future."
