KMK Consulting Retained by the University of Cincinnati Medical Center
Cincinnati, April 22, 2002-KMK Consulting Company is proud to announce that it has been retained by the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to assist in bringing its vision of firmly establishing itself as one of the top 20 Medical Center's in the United States to reality. Known as the Millennium Plan, the goals include: increasing National Institutes of Health (NIH) research support to $300 Million per year with 260 full-time investigators; building state-of-the-art research facilities; developing basic research in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and imaging; promoting translational and clinical research to allow commercial application of findings to improve health and economic development; becoming one of the Centers of Excellence in the Biomedical Revolution; and promoting entrepreneurial economic development. In addition, the UC Medical Center will focus on programs already established as Centers of Excellence: cancer, cardiovascular/pulmonary, neurobehavioral and perinatal/early development. KMK Consulting Company will focus on strategy, leadership development, organization, capital formation issues and the final budgeting scope of the project.
